The “Absent Voices and Rhythms” podcast is an episode that aims to document the stories of Yemeni heritage artists, as a continuation of the Menkam Podcast | journey presented by the podcaster Feryal Magdy.
The episodes of the “Absent Voices and Rhythms” podcast are presented on the “Dafayer” platform and are the result of a group of workshops that young women from different governorates of Yemen received, with the aim of supporting them in order to present episodes that tell the stories of Yemeni heritage artists.
The podcast was produced under the supervision of the podcaster and Yemeni podcast producer Feryal Magdy and in cooperation with the Goethe Institute, the French Embassy, and the German-French Institute
